After Bavarian and Italian, Asian food is one of the most common food in Munich. Above the crowd, a few restaurants stand out, among which Anh-Thu and Cochinchina, both we warmly recommend. However if you are looking for a lunch or take-away option, choice is wide but often not quality oriented.
Lucky you: the owner of Anh-Thu and Cochinchina understood this and opened two street food options in Glockenbach and Isator and they hold the reputation.
In the pure Vietnamiese tradition they offer Banh-Mi (a Vietnamese sandwich – 6,9€), spring rolls (5,9€) or Bun (this rice noodle salad with plenty of herbs and choice of meat – 9,9€).
And to really make you feel like in the streets of Hanoi, you’ll sit on mini plastic stool, in front of a small plastic table. Not the most comfortable but definitely the most authentic. And your lunch is so good that you quickly forget about it.
